The rule: the item at rank 1 is today's job. Don't open R&D, don't chase a new recommendation, don't "improve the whole thing" until the top item is shipped.

Edit the frontmatter above to re-rank or retire items. Keep it to 3-5 — a focus list with 15 things on it is not a focus list.
